sand eels are in the midshore waters like we haven't seen in years and the BFT are there in full force feeding on em  ;D ;D   If you want a great chance at a bluefin on the jig NOW is the time to do it...mostly "schoolies" in the 30-60# range but have heard of one confirmed giant and quite a few medium/ large (47-73") are also in the mix

Now if only the eddy of warm water of the Gulf Stream would break loose and head up into the northern canyons so its not a 120-175 mile ride from Manasquan to where the bigeyes are I'd be a happy camper
