Tiger Trout and Browns
« on: Aug 13, 2013, 06:46 AM »
Got out on the water yesterday after work. Landed these guys. The tiger had a hook in its mouth from someone else. i dont think it was able to eat. i removed it and he swam away.

So Mass is still planting tigers on a regular basis? That last location looks like Old Fort Pond. I've caught a few browns out of there years ago trolling with a cowbell rig on a downrigger.

I'm considering buying tiger eggs from a supplier in Utah and hatching some. My customers are begging for tigers vs. my usually brooks and browns. Personally think a brook male in full spawning colors beats them silly but have to get what the customer wants.

nice catch. what are you using to catch them on. Im guessing you are fishing deep. that 1st tiger looks like its going to starve to death. maybe the hook you found and removed was keeping it from eating
