well the season started off fairly good for me this year fisrt day out on last mountain yeiled me a 20 pound Jack and last night caught 4 nice size wlleye on the river so its a slow start but a nice one

yeah I also caught 4 suckes this year as well on spoons LOL (more like snaged them)

Good one friendlyfishing, very nice jumbo pike and good number of walleye and suckers.

I have no fishing report yet, I think I will try sometime this weekend.

The fishing season started good for me last evening. It was too windy to use the boat with 30-40 km/h winds so decided to fish from shore. The 3rd cast produced a 1.5 lb pike, 5 min later a chubby 5 lb walleye and before I was leaving a healthy 2.5 lb walleye. The wee pike and big walleye went back and the second walleye stayed. Really felt good to do some fishing again.

Hi guys, I'm new to the board, but will be coming back often. Just thought I'd let everyone know that some good success was had up at Waterhen on May long weekend...... unfortunately not by me. My boyfriend & I caught a few jacks, but there was a couple of 18 pound jacks that were taken and I saw a guy butchering a 6.5 pound walleye in the filleting shack. Apparently the mouth of the river was the place to go. Good fishing to all.

Welcome to My Fish Finder JackAttack, thanks for your report at Waterhen. At least you did not get skunked. Good to hear there are big fish being caught there, keeps you wanting to go back.
I went fishing this Sunday for a few hours and ended up with one 3.8lb pike, it was slow all over the lake that day, I think the fish were enjoying the day as much as we were, from the other angler around I was the only one to get a fish that day so, that ain't so bad.

Just got back from a weekend of Pike fishing north of Shell Lake. We caught hundreds of Pike ( there was 22 of us camped together ) but all fish were under 3 lbs.
