Thanks Filet. It's a great spot. The owners farm 6000 acres but manage it to hold birds. It does   ;D

Bird hunting is my favorite! Great job Hollywood!

Looks like the walleye getters were a bit off last night. We'll see how they do tonight! 😈

Well... $120 for license, $15 a box for shells, $4 a bird to the high school kids that clean them after, $840 for fuel, $40 in toll fees, $200 a day to the farmer to off set the cost of habitat.... probably about $500 a pound. Or... About the same as a pound of walleye fillets...  ;D There were 17 hunters. Guys from California, Utah, Texas, Colorado. Great guys, always a good bunch to hunt with. They've been getting together out there every year for a long time now.

Yea.....we had a tough time last night. we only went 3 for 8....... Rueben was a little off his game.  >:( You don't expect us to get a limit every night do you? :P  :w00t:
Little to much wind for tonight. Helped a friend take his dock out today. :o It was rough with the waves but we got it done.

Gave it a shot for the Waldo tournament last night. First spot was like a barren desert. Not a fish around so I took off to jump in the canoe and try it on the north shore. Landed 15 keepers and lost or missed at least 10 more in an hour. Had a 9.22lb bag which was good enough for 2nd place. Winning 3 fish limit was over 17 lbs. Hard to compete with that  :afro:
Nice job findin em

Hooking up 25 in an hour is a pure slamfest. Congrats! And nice job on 2nd place in the tourney.

Was 17# for 1st place for real? I think I could take my top 3 fish for the year and not beat that.
