That's an amazing total for 3 Oneida fish! I'm sure I've caught hundreds there before without putting together 3 that weighed that much. Congrats to the winners- you definitely had the stringer of an Oneida lifetime! I bet a winning weight like that will scare a lot of guys from even bothering to enter. Unless the contest was on Ontario or Otisco. That would just be an average 3 fish total for those waters.

I have tossed back some really nice ones this fall and my best guess on my top 3 may have crested at about 13 #

My 3 best from Oneida for my entire life would not hit that!! :w00t: But i don't catch as many fish as the average bear either

Could it be that one or some of these fish came from a different lake. I also think it is a phenomenal limit of fish that I have never seen come from Oneida

Does sound a little fishy (no pun intended). Get the polygraph out. :)
Or maybe all the releasing the big fish is paying off and there are some hogs in good numbers. I hope so..

One night last fall two fish around 28" were taken in the canal, and a third the same size either that night or the same weekend. All by different people. So it's possible, but pretty crazy.

In my 3 years fishing Oneida I honestly couldn't put together 3 that big.
