Fished with Shane and one of his lodgers tonight. Action was kind of slow. Ended with 5 keeper eyes, bunch of shorts, and a mixed bag of jumbo perch, rock bass, smallies, 🐑, and sunnies. Weather was nice and quite a mayfly hatch at dark.
Nice job findin em

Good job Bobby. Those mayfly seem to have slowed things down for now. Hopefully they're on fire after that.

Looks good Sean!!!

 Well done guys ,
Hopefully it will be like last year the bite will pick up after the hatch done and they are back their normal diet

It has just gotten under way so you will be seeing mayfly (eel fly)soon , and the fish will be filling up

Yes, they showed up Saturday morning in mass after the wind shifted to the northwest.
I hope they get done soon.

Mayfly hatch was in full swing 6/25/21
Got out yesterday with snag and Matt,  snag managed I think 3 keepers,  Matt got 1 I ended up getting 1 that doesn’t count and sheep and weed trout , weather pleasant and very lumpy

Just hand one of the Oneida indian nations rental pontoon boats from the cove wash up.... not sure if a mechanical issue, over loaded or no common sense guessing the last but no way should that boat have been out there rougher the hell out there..... banged in to several docks until some people helped the occupants out  it was just towed out by boat US.... and they just started renting out boats  and this is about 15miles from the beach

I can only imagine that 75% of those folks renting those boats don’t hold any boater safety certificates. Just a bad idea all around!!🤦🏻
