Dough bait?
« on: May 20, 2005, 07:30 PM »
Does anyone have some cat fish doughball bait recipes, I would like to know what you use and how you fish them (do you roll the hook in when you make them or do you hook them as you fish). I am new to catfishing and would like to have a bunch of tricks up my sleave.

thanks, kent

When I use dough bait, I buy Bee Jay's.  IMO it seems to work the best.  I use a springed treble hook, make a ball around it, and loft it out into the water.  If you cast to hard with dough bait you'll see it go one direction and your line the other.
