I am using 1/4 to 3/8 oz bucktails. Black/blue was best color last year. With only 1 trip this year not sure but it does seem to change. I never start a day with what was working on the last trip. As for presentation, I have seen that change from hour to hour. Most times (warm water) they like a lift and drop, early season more of tight to bottom, you just have to play around. Looking like this Thurs. may be a good day....h2l
There were some fish not far from where you are keeping your boat, I just couldn't get them to hit.

I don't know about that. I missed a few good hits yesterday. I think that happens when you aren't getting a lot of hits, or, maybe getting old and my reaction time is slowing down. As I have said, it is still early, the "tiger lilies" aren't in bloom yet! Enjoy the weekend....h2l

Hey Doug, how deep are you fishing? Looking to open camp tomorrow and hit the water. 1st time up this year. I know that you are a ways away from our camp since it's near Brooks Bay. Good Fishing this weekend.

Only been out 2 times and only caught 4 walleyes. The ones I have caught have come from anywhere from 22 to 31 fow, which I thought was deep for this time of year. Spring has aways been tough for me. Poke around out there, you never know. If you find them let me know! Good Luck and enjoy the weekend....h2l

Caught two shorts in front of Park Marine in about 25ft of water. Any pods of fish I marked were hugging bottom in deep water, 35 to 40 feet.
