Never had a smoked laker  I've BBQed some of the smaller ones and they are acceptable but I think Lakers are similar to bullheads that they taste better from some waters over others

Smoked they are fish candy yummy also smoked make great spread for crackers

Like those perch hauls.  Pike are fired up by me.  Tried to get them on the fly but couldnt get any takers.

Speaking of pike, Low.. had a pretty wild thing happen yesterday.. doubled up on the light set up .. big gill crushed the tube then a pike bit my top jig on the way in. Double header 🤷‍♂️
