It’s legit. That same guy tied the prior record with a 8#-4 ounce fish. Awesome fish!!

My PB smallie came from Cayuga in the fall on a hair jig near the power plant outflow. Had to have been pushing 7 pounds in no water. Buddy said put trolling motor on high and when you start stirring the bottom start casting. First cast and bam a monsta.

KP, how does that work during a closed season? Must have weighed on certified scale and all. Nice fish and I'm happy for the angler!
