Week at Rangeley
« on: May 10, 2022, 06:21 AM »
Yesterday was day 1 of a week at Rangeley.  Little slow yesterday morning.  Misses 2, landed 2.  This one was 3.56lbs.  I let mine go that was around 2lbs.

This morning a little slow.  Landed 2 missed 2.  This a was Keith's first salmon ever.  Guessing 2lbs

Wow, those are some nice salmon.  Congrats.  Few and far between for me on that lake.  Heading to East Grand in June and hoping to get a couple there.

Landed this 15" Brookie last night.  Really fat fish. On the water at 4:30 and another flat calm day on Rangeley.   Broke one off early, need some wind to mix things up

Nice fish. Looks like the salmon are getting plenty to eat.

Fishing is picking up.  La ded 4 salmon this morning, kept 1 that weighed 2.2lbs.  Didn't take a pic.  Got one to the boat that was over 4lbs.  She came flying out of the water, and 5 feet down threw the hook.  Looked beautiful with a once again flat calm weather.  6 days in a row with no wind, u heard of for Rangeley in May

So he puts you on fish and then takes a nap!  :rotflol:

Actually the dog was upset when I missed the big one🤦‍♂️. 3 bites this morning.  Another small craft advisory for Rangeley.  This one weighed 2.3lbs
