Now that's a PIG
Congrats

Last time I saw one like that was back in the late 90s that a guy from Kentucky caught in an ABA tournament on Pickwick lake, Alabama

Gotta love the "bed" fishermen. See'em, catch'em. Great sport!

Big fish but definitely holding it way out hard to actually tell real size

Not hardly.
For at least a month anyway.
That is why bass season has always opened 1st of June in WNY (or 1st Saturday of June).

In Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence, some bass are still on beds mid June.  In the beds I have seen while SCUBA diving, the bed is often nothing more than an area on a rocky surface where the zebra muscle debris have been removed.  Often this is up against a protruding boulder or ledge which affords some protection.  And the gobies are relentless as you can see on some youtube videos.

Last year the MLF pros were catching them on beds in late June on the St Larry.(June 25th-30th)

I'm not saying THIS fish was on a bed, but some may still be.

Don't you think the Great Lakes waters warm more slowly due to their size -- hence later spawning?

Tourneys this weekend plus practice this week bedded bass are in trouble
Most anglers, from what I was told, we’re sight fishing bedded bass on Cayuga during the tourney on Wednesday. A Wednesday night tourney on Onondaga lake was won on bed fish. We fished Onondaga last weekend. Bed fish all over that lake. Water temp was 67-69*. A guide friend of mine just told me that Ontario is still 63-65* where he’s been fishing.
