First Night Trip of the Year on the Q
« on: Jun 21, 2022, 05:42 PM »
I know the water was high, but when you have an itch, you have to scratch... The weather was perfect (the bugs thought so too) and with the high water the access was very limited, but fish were caught, a long walk was had and the guy I fished with got to test some cell phones for low light pics (no flash was used). I won't be hitting it again until the water comes down a few feet, but glad I went last night. All I fished was topwater.

Also got a nice smally, with lots of jumps.
My friend who came alone is a beginner and he missed or dropped every fish, but he still had a great time and is game for the next trip!

Thanks, but my walls are filled... The guy that took the shoot makes his living testing mostly cell phones, I will have to ask him which one he took that with...

One of the many great things about this sport is we are often in the right place at the right time;
Rye Harbor, putting the boat in, heading out to Jefferies to fish;

My son and I in CO, fishing a high alt. Lake for Cutthroat;

Fishing with friends;

Memories made;

Fishing careers started;

Great pics!  Thanks for posting.  Those are some nice drum.

Maybe it's my crappy camera but my camera doesn't give justice to the brilliance of stunning sunsets.

If that is the case with Alan's sunset pic above that must have been one incredible sunset!

The 1st one (a sunrise) was taken with a Point and Shoot digital type camera, 2nd the same, 3rd and 5th a phone, 4th a Fire Tablet.
Here is another from that same morning and pointed just a little more to the right and it is not as dramatic...

Timing and framing are what I always try for.
