I was having a cup of coffee and going back through this thread. 218 pages of fun.

I'd like to mail the new Photobucket CEO a big stinky fish for dumping 9 years of great photos. What a turd!

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Hi All,
I've tied flies for steelhead and salmon years ago, I'm just getting into fly fishing this year so I dusted off the vise and started tying a few.

Thanks Boon for the ant photos. I do like the one tied with grizzly hackle.  I'll  give that one a shot as soon as I'm done with my peanut bunker stuff.

It is a shame that we lost the library of photos from this thread, had lots of good contributions. Oh well, start building the library again. Let's see some more.

Nice ties there swamp rat, those will catch fish. Just need a good dose of spring.

That's a nice assortment of flies...I never had much luck with streamers...for some reason that bead head nymph has got me more fish than any other fly I tied or used..

I may take some time to down load a bunch of pictures from my PB account to my other computer and re-post them. I have 8000 pictures stored there. The problem I had last time I tried that was they put them in a zipped file and I couldn't find a way to open it. But, that was the entire library of pictures. Maybe I'll try a smaller batch this time.

Anyway...nice ties everyone. Thank you all for keeping this going. It's a great way to learn and share new patterns.

And....that's to Scott for providing an alternative solution for Stinky Fish Bucket.

Especially when it's puffed up and covered in cheese powder!! :thumbup_smilie:.

Never been a fly fisherman or a trout guy but even I can appreciate the time and skill that goes into tying all those flys. They look great guys!
Do you think fish go home and lie about all the bait they stole?

Early to bed, early to rise
Fish all day and make up lies...

There's a reason they call it fishing, not catching.
