Fathers and Daughters have a special bond. That's a great picture. I have one of My daughter with her first bass when she was around 8 yrs old. Now I have one of her with my grandson as well.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Yup...hunting and fishing pix with my kids are my best trophies! That and fishing pix with my Dad.

I can't wait till my daughter starts hooking them.  She is 3 and has a barbie rod and she practices with the little plug.  She gets some pretty darn good casts too, she can sit on my front porch and cast it out to the street, around 25 feet.  She isn't very patient yet when she goes out to the lake but she will be in time.

Our youngest is four and the patience isn't there yet, although when he started catching, he had a blast and stuck to it.  The six year old didn't exhibit much patience last year, but this year does much better.  They are relatively easily bored when fish aren't being caught, but that is why you try to give them the good spots.

Dachmation - it was about 13.25 inches.

Awesome Pitcure. I know some older guys that can't catch em that big.
You can either be the type of person that spends a saturday watching Dr. Phil, eating tofu in your bachelor appartment, or you can be the type that goes fishing.... Your call....The bass are biting...

Awesome!
I hate it when people say "Take a girl fishing?" (or hunting for that matter).
They enjoy it just as much, and that pic will be there forever...
Nice job parenting, Thriller. I bet she wants to go again.

Great picture Thriller!  I sometimes wish my kids were young again so I could see the wonder on their faces.  But I can't complain because I raised 2 boys who can outfish me almost every time, so some things turned out right!

Thanks.  In general, the kids enjoy going out fishing.  It is just a matter of fitting it into the schedule with the rest of our lives.  It is probably our biggest (at least time-wise) family activity.
