I fish Fourth a lot, especially in winter, but have a question regarding bass. I know that there is no catch and release season in Hamilton County, but most of the lake lies within Herkimer. How does that work? I ask because I want to take a friend out on the lake within the next couple of weeks. We were planning an earlier trip for trout, but were unable to rent a boat that early. I have a NuCanoe but wanted to cover more water. So, is there a catch and release season on Fourth?
