Boat Cover
« on: Jul 17, 2008, 06:24 PM »
Not sure if this has been discussed or not. Please excuse me if it has. I have a 14' aluminum Starcraft boat that I haul places to fish with. I bought a canvas waterproof cover for it to keep the water out when it rains. Also built support brackets to lift the cover up so water flows off. It's about 4 years old now and the water proofing is GONE!!!!! Almost nothing left to it. I tried Thompson's water seal last year but lasted about 4 rain showers. Anyone out there know of a good waterproofing I can put on that will last a while???? Any help would be appreciated and the fishing GODS will be in your debt..........
