just a wierd fish i stumbled onto....
didn't think we had paddle fish in indiana.

a little piece of worm with a little # 6 hook.  as plankton feeders i just happened to drift it into his open mouth...
we were just goofing off fishing for drum with my kid.

My dad fished for paddle fish in Montana and in north Dakota. Their is like a big game tag i believe and he just so happened to get a tag in each state. I believe the season is in may but correct me if i am wrong. Also they snag them not catch them so that is unusual that you actually caught it. I believe that the two my dad caught were 40 and 50 pounds and the pole looks kinda like a halibut pole. If i am wrong on any of this please correct me because the memory is very vague cause i was so you. Any way neat looking fish and i bet when you pulled it up you were going what is that critter lol.
