This salmon got the royal treatment

Stuffed the cavity with thyme, rosemary, parsley, lemon, and garlic. Braised it with extra virgin olive oil with ground ginger, ground garlic, lemon juice, and chopped cilantro. Came out beautiful.

I'm not into eating trout but I would give this a try.  nice work on the salmon. I would like to catch one myself!
