crappie on at CJ

Been to CJ the last two weekends. Wind has been kinda tough at times but worked through it and caught crappie. Brought home 24 this sun ranging from 9 1/2 to 12 1/2. Going after sturgeon on fri and hopefully back to CJ sat or sun. Fish On, The Nut!

Went to CJ today. I took my daughter, fshnnut jr. The weather was awesome until about 10 when the wind started up. It must have been blowing 20+ by the time we left. However, we managed to bring home 48 fish and the average crappie was 11".

Just a tip, the wind was strong enough that we could drop anchor and drift at a moderate pace. Still caught 'em and they will be tasty!
