river fish

Catfish that is.... went out on the river, this was my second trip this week, first time I hooked 4, landed 3 - second trip I hooked 3 landed 2, both pictures are from the second trip, the one went about 11-12 pounds I would guess, that is a 1 liter mountain dew bottle for reference, the fish is much larger.....

Not bad lookin fish, I might have to try in my neck of the woods. I thought it might be a litte early by 2 or 3 weeks, but maybe not. I think I can convince the wife to go on Sat. and try for some perch also. If the wind does not blow me off of the lake.
