2.7 eb
Wanted the 3.5 eb but couldn’t get what I wanted with it, the pricing I wanted, in a 2019, etc,

2.7 eb

Hope it works out for ya I have 3 buddies buy an EcoBoost and with in a year or 2 they all traded them in on a chevy or a dodge

My bud has the 2.7 and likes it , I got the 3.5 and I like it , wife says I regress back to a kid 😃

Ford apparently put the injectors in a spot where they don't spray and subsequently clean the backside of the intake valves. Some people were running into random cylinder misfires around 40-70k miles because of carbon buildup on the valves. Not sure if or when they might fix that.

My buddy had a raptor with the 3.5, it was quick for a truck.

It’s a 2.7 Ecoboost
(Turbo)
I wanted a 3.5 EN but couldn’t get a 2019 with one and the options I wanted.
The 2.7 will work form now.
It’s also a 3 yr lease that is fully warranteed.
So I don’t give a crap if it blows up.
They have lots more.
I like GM and thing Dodge trucks are cheap.
But my son Chris is a manager for Ford so I get the “A” plan discount; which also works on a lease.
So I drive Fords.
BTW, Chris drives a Suburu.
And has to park in the furthest lot at the plant.
🤣
I think all vehicles are good and they all suk. Everyone has their personal favorite. Doesn’t make them better.
It’s like recommending a steakhouse to someone. Everybody’s taste is different.
As far as on manufacturer having more troubles than another, they all have major recalls, and they all make a lemon here and there.
I like the truck and it will be fine for the lease.

I always had chevys but couldn’t talk to them , got an awesome deal on the ford so far so good , and it’s extremely quick
-
i think all truck are close in quality(my opinion) since 2002 for work truck ive had a dodge 3500 ,ford 250 hd ,chevy 2500 hd and now ram 2500 hd all of them have performed and lasted about the same ,kept all for 150,000 miles or more we cover the whole state doing guide rail and i believe as long as you keep engine oil and tras oil changed on regular schedule your good these trucks are loaded heavy and worked hard
for weekend vehicles and outdoor stuff i love jeep have a grand cherokee with 3.0 ecodiesel and pulls 23 foot grady white like nothing and gets good mpg too

Agreed , things last longer if they are cared for
