Silver Lake, Wyoming county.....
« on: Sep 23, 2020, 12:24 PM »
Saw this on the SLA site.....heads up to those who may need to know.....

Quinn Bellamy (Silver Lake Marine), just talked with Doug Kelly at the Silver Lake Public Boat Launch State Park.
IMPORTANT FYI - Please help spread the word.
They need to pull the state launch ramp dock sooner than normal and were planning to do so next week. I asked him to leave it in an extra weekend to give the Lakers a bit more time to get their boats out. He agreed to leave it in thru Sun 10-4. It will be pulled on the 5th. Would you please start spreading the word? There are still a lot of boats on the lake and now just two weekends remaining to get them pulled.

Nothing in 2020 would surprise  me.

LOL.    Don’t forget your hip boots in October...

The marina will make some extra launch coin

Isn’t there a ramp also on east side at Mcmaster road..?

That’s Macs restaurant. They are closed. I doubt you can launch there.  There is another launch at the north end.  I forgot the name of the place though.

Koziel's on the north end.  With low water there may be problems getting out of the channel up there.  I don't think the marina's launch is open to the public anymore.  basically their use and slip holders.

What about Silver Lake Marina’s launch?

As Greg said in the post above, they are no longer open to the public for launching.

I thought Greg was speaking about Mac’s.

I was referencing SLM.  I think Mack's is the same.  Their own use and slip holders only.  I don't know of anyone that's launched there in years.
