Picked another box of tomatoes and enough peppers for my chili sauce…

Nice "early" harvest, homemade chili sauce is delicious. Just add fish.

Caught 3 of these guys munching on my dill.  Looked them up and they appear to be black swallowtail butterflies, so I relocated them to my neighbor's yard. ;D

My Son does that with monarch butterflies. Feeds them milkweed and watches them morph. Keeps his eyes open for cocoons and helps them along.

I’ll be pulling my garlic this weekend. Probably wait a  bit till the dog days are past and  plant beans for the freezer.

Love to put in some spinach and radishes but it’s gonna be too darned hot. They’ll just bolt.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Pulled a sample of my garlic a bit ago.

I wear a 2xl glove. 6 cloves an inch across. That’s my kind of garlic.

Think I’ll have enough garlic to last the winter.

Well…just enough.😁

I’ll start processing it later today. Also going to smoke a bunch that I have left from last year for garlic powder.

Great pull Bob. Think I’m pulling my tomorrow.
Pulled one last night. No where
as big as yours but I should have plenty.

Takes a couple years picking and choosing seed. Save those big cloves for your seed. You may get some surprises when you harvest. Can’t tell by the stalks. Some of my biggest were just average sized stalks.

It’s all good anyway. We know where it came from.

Been playing with garlic all morning. Pulled about 115 heads

Have a bunch of cloves in the dehydrator

And a bunch on the Weber getting a good cold smoke

I’ll make garlic powder out of all that.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
