Open water? Ice free?

Does anyone know if Highland or West Hill are open?  May take a run up there with the boat today.  Please advise.

yes.  It is ice free.  What a surprise...  Landed a few browns on spoons.  Lost a few too.  Action was so so.

I think everyone has still been in ice mode-I say go fishing people!-Trout are on! at the C&R sections of the Farmington-And I've been landing perch-after perch-after perch: they're in spawn along outer weedlines+ fallen timber along drop shorelines- in swarms!-Even some nice sized bass+ pickerel rightbehind them!-

last yr. today we fished Batt on the ice,Caught a few Walters
If it was easy they would have called it catchin,not fishin
