tough spot but not impossible to fix.
Get the thinnest rubberized cork, cut it in half and go over top of it. Cut the ring in half and epoxy it in and sand if needed. Might need to use some wood putty to smooth out the broken cork, be nice to just putty it as is, but probably will break off.
Built my son a 7 wt. TFO he uses it for steelies and bass, fast action rod!!!!

Well my brother in laws might as well be sister in laws that backed out on me.lastbqeekend but y Uncle Buck and I are going to fish the bullhead tournament that's going on tonight..will.let ya know how we do

If you are confused about the catch and release method, come fish with me and I will demonstrate it for you. Occasionally some of the fish I catch fall into my cooler to be cleaned and eaten, but most I return so others have the opportunity to catch them. Remember it is all fun and games until someone loses a walleye.

i don't eat walleyes often noy my favorite fish at all i give them to my brother or anyone fishing with me ...now perch and bluegills thats a different story oh crappies suck too
