Why is my suggestion of the gas price app not helpful or in any way "downing" your thread? I am simply offering another source for current gas prices. Its no wonder this place is a ghost town if you are going to attack everyone for posting something. :wacko:

this year has been down to 2$ and is only 2.25@ right now.
a barrel of crude (which we can not buy) is down to 48$
i will be boating more this year for sure!!

Sorry - I typed $3.50 and meant to type $2.50 (fixed it)
My point was to illustrate the extra $0.25-30 in NYS taxes.
NY is the highest in the country.

our gas tax's are 3rd highest in nation i read a while ago.
i know the feds were trying to hit it with a higher tax. maybe thats why it went up 35 cents in one day.

It's only been a few days since the news said gas was going to drop some more. LOL The gas moguls do the opposite of what is on the news.
Last night the news was giving the excuses for the gas spike. did not pay much attention knowing it was just more Bullshvick.

I just got another notice from Gas Buddy on Sat afternoon warning of another spike. Bend over some more Michigan.

that is totally right and the news puts the blame on the summer blend coming out??? show how screwed up the news report are around detroit... they report what they feel is the truth not what the truth really is.....

That is what all the news is about. Look who they were running for President before he was elected to the Senate.
If you sign up to Gas Buddy they will send you hike and drop alerts. I am signed up so I get prices in my town. If I am going to travel I click on Map by one of the station prices. I then can drag the map to where I am going to check prices to find out if it's cheaper or to buy my gas at home.
