Anyone been out fishing yet? Is the Ice all gone? Planning to head out soon and try my luck from shore any info will be appreciated.

Fished the channel today caught 6 walleye and 2 catfish. Great day on the water especially since the weather cooperated.

sweet, good to hear it's about time for them to be runnin up in there!
When they slow down (probly in about 1.5 weeks), the northern and muskie will be runnin up through there

went up on the channel for a couple hours today and only caught one white bass using minnows and jigs, lookin like they aren't up in there yet! lol

Rumor has it the lake is hot. Jigs with minnow and plastics working. Also heard of rigs on Bottom Bouncers working. Everyone I've talked to that's been there caught a bunch of fish. FYI

can't say for sure, but my guess is that greatness has not happened yet... water temp was 55* Sat.
