Title: Anyone alive?

Just checking to see how everyone is doing open water so far this season. I went out last weekend and caught a nice limit of some decent crappies, nothing monster sized but they sure tasted good with the fresh morels!

im here ross. made a couple good runs up to brushy. i dont check in here very often as its dead. too bad we cant get some of the IS guys over here.

I saw the post on the Ice Shanty site.  Was hoping there was a decent site for open water fishing for Iowa.  I went out this morning with my father in law and his brother pond fishing here in Appanoose County.  Did good on the bass.  Landed me a 5 3/4 pounder!  Made my morning!  :)

Very nice, I've heard they're hammering them. Couple buddies had some pics of some 5-6 lbers from Big Creek. I got out with my soon to be fiance's dad and we hammered the little dink walleyes there, kept waiting for their mama to swim in and save them, haha.
