Title: Planer Board Release Flags/Streamers
Post by: Mac Attack on Dec 05, 2020, 02:01 PM
Just finished the last batch of planer board release flags.  We can’t see the release and fishing line way out near the planer boards.  Especially if the water is rough.  So I made a ton of these little 1” wide x 10” long flags to attach to the release clips when we send them out.  Should work really well.  I made about 100.  We will never use more than 40-50 a day but I had the material so figured what the hell.  Gotta give credit to Donna because she pointed me toward a certain fabric material that will hold up.  The stuff I bought originally was crime scene ribbon and was way to thin and would never have worked.  My sister Mary deserves some credit too but forgive me as I forget what she told me other than using a lighter to singe the ends so they don’t unravel.  However singeing wasn’t needed.
