Fished a small tourney Sunday out of Sodus. A buddy and I shot out of the chute and headed for Eastbay. Another tourney angler was entering it so we shot over to Port instead. Pulled a quick limit of 1.5-2lb'ers. Worked on upgrading the rest of the day. Shot out of Port around 10am and went into East bay. Pulled a nice keeper there and a bunch that wouldnt help. SHot out to Chimmney Bluffs and tried for some smallies. Lost 1 and caught one around 1.5 lbs on a drop shot. Ran back into Sodus with an hour left and upgraged once and threw back a few others that wouldnt help. 1/2 jigs seemed to be the ticket for us. Port was 5-8ft of water and Sodus was 13-14ft of water. Weighed in just under 12lbs. Took 13 to cash a check. Oh well, maybe next time!
