I'm going out Thurs. night.  I will let anyone know whats doing.  I know it's probably early,but I want to out so bad I can taste it.(hopefully I will be able to taste them!!!)

a cider worm is a red wiggler that is dug out a old pile of manure they are small but very affective and they stink

Smelt work pretty good too.   ;)  You can find frozen ones in certain grocery store seafood freezer sections.  I've had nights where they would barely tap a nightcrawler...put those smelt on and you can't even run two rods.  I learned this, by accident, quite a few years ago.  I decided to fish last minute and the baitshop was closed.

Nothing biting off shore now in Cayuga where I caught quite a few a week and a half ago. The water temp is only 39 degrees now and it was 46. That must be the reason.
