Smallies at Orman
« on: Apr 11, 2011, 03:23 PM »
Anybody ever catch any smallies at Orman? I've never been there, but I plan to go soon. I heard there were smallies in there, but I never hear anyone talk about catching them.   Also, are there many Tiger Muskies in there?

I have fished it for a few years now and don't hear of many small mouth bass caught and have never heard of anyone catching a tiger musky.  I know they used to be in there.

smallies are in there, I think at least at the right time (summer) by the dam in the rocks? Never targeted them. There are tigers in there too, I know a few folks who have caught them, and watched a guy pull one in on a zebco 33!  :w00t:

Again, I have never targeted them, but I only hear about them getting caught in the spring, predominantly right after the walleye are about done running in the inlet...
