Forest Preserve Angler Alliance (FPAA)
« on: May 12, 2011, 07:10 AM »
Just throwing it out there guys that we are meeting with some biologists and other members of Cook County to hear what some of their projects are and to have some questions answered about stocking, habitat, policing and special projects that are coming up. No obligation to volunteer, but if you have questions for the county or just want to sit back and check it out:
****Bass Pro Shop (Bolingbrook)/ May 16 (Monday) @ 6:30 Pm/ 2nd floor meeting room

A couple of many issues:
- Building and setting habitat structures
- Possible spawning beds/rock piles for walleye
- Passing on info to people who do not understand rules/regulations
- Possibly rotating lakes to be catch-n-release

***Once again, nobody is obligated, but if we could have a few guys show up to show the county that there is interest in the futures of these lakes, more CAN be done... There's nothing to sign up for and all it costs you is some time and gas $ to get some info on the shape of our waters right outside our doors......Hope to see and meet some of you there.....

***We have started with Cook County, but we are going to branch out into other counties as well as a group.

***Also, this is not a go and pick up garbage and clean the outhouse kind of group either :thumbup_smilie:.......Prizz (Dave)

Keep on keeping on!!!!!!!    Prizz
