Carp fishing

Anyone in Western SD have any good locations to go bowfishing for carp?  I'll be up there this weekend, hoping to get some carp to throw in the smoker.

I don't know if our water is warm enough yet to bring them to the top. But if they are, I'd try Angostura or Oahe at the dam. Both of those places are having extreme flooding tho. Worst ever, so be safe.....I don't know if Orman has carp.

Also, I would be interested in learning how to smoke fish. My Grandpa used to smoke carp and they were awesome. Got any tips to  share? I don't even know how to get started.

Come to keyhole reservoir in wyoming . No license needed and lots of carp. Shot a bunch in mule crekk arm a couple of days ago for catfish bait.

when the water warms up in a few more weeks or so, all the flooded timber in Angustora will have tons of them all over the surface...
