Did a couple prototype feeders yesterday.

We're testing to see how the birds like them. I have a tiered feeder in mind next.

Fun stuff!

I can't see why the birds wouldn't like them.....   ;D

@rg

Any magazine plans or plain drawn out plans?? For the lathe bench??  I could get pictures of our it's a heavy sob made of doubled mdf for legs and top.... then covered in temper board and edged with local hard woods...  I think we used 4 sheets of mdf building it two for the top two for legs  it holds twould lathes and can be filled with sand to steady it if need be.. we doubled the mdf by  contact cementing one side each board  then sticking those sides of the boards together ...them cut out the top and legs all bolts together for moving.. have not had a problem with vibration since we made it..

Should be substantial enough.

It's getting there.

Picked up an oak stair tread for the top today. It's looking good to me. Weighs like a small piano ;D

Is the delta midi lathe mare in usa any more?? I know black and decker bought delta and shuffled around a bunch of tools..  we got a older delta midi lathe and a x5 cabinet saw made in usa the tools are.. a motriser and a band saw all made in usa...  if the new 46-460 is made in usa I would love to replace the older midi lathe I have now..  cause of the newer models with variable speed switche's ours don't have the varible speed dial or reverse etc.. let me know if yours is made in usa rg ??
