Wet Morning For Fishing
« on: Jun 03, 2021, 07:20 AM »
But I went anyway. Don’t want to end my streak.

It was raining pretty good when I went out for my walk at 5:00. Got pretty wet. Got home and thought, that’s why man invented the rain suit!

So, I grabbed my heavy spinning rod and a few top water plugs and went casting around a few spots. Had one decent pike fly out of the water hitting a silver Pop-R. Had him on for a couple minutes then he flew out 2’ straight up and spit the lure. He really thrashed that lure though.

Then I went to an outflow and tossed a couple Wally Divers for a bit. Managed 1 largemouth.

Haven’t spent any time casting like that in a while. Sure was fun.

I’ll be back at the carp in the morning.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I had a bass hit my bobber 2 nights ago when I was pan fishing - had him on for about 3 reels before he spit it out .... crazy fish....
