I wish i had the gear to do that around here. There is a guy that charters trips out of a local res. here and he dosent charge too much I hear. This guy really knows how to catchem too...he only holds the state record.

Nice stripers Slipbob!  They are just getting to Maine in past couple of weeks, and it's my passion for late spring and summer fishing.  When they're in the rivers up here, you don't need a boat (if you know where to go  ).  If you ever make it to Southern Maine in the summer, give one of us a shout on the Maine board.  You would really get a kick out of surf casting on the beach on a warm summer night in Maine!  Tight Lines, Mike

  awesome sb..who needs a boat ? come on down to the "pound " and catch them from shore...nice fishing up threre around menands and green island...but theres more and bigger ones a wee bit south of there...gonna eat em ? thats alot o' fish..tight lines..
