Hey all,
I found this site and thought I'd share it with you. For those of you beginners like myself may find it very useful. It is a PBS broadcast that shows many patterns tied in detail.
You have to download the OMN network in order to download the videos but it is well worth it. Hopefully you have a high speed connection ;)
