Title: Looking for a good spot to do some fishing

Wondering if anyone knows any where around Appleton where a guy can get some pannies fishing off shore. I was wondering about by the Marina on the northside of Winnebago, but I know it's fairly shallow in that area so I wasn't sure. Not looking to fish a spot dry, just a spot to take my boy once in a while since I don't have a boat.
