I will be vacationing in the outer banks in august. i was wondering if anyone can help me with info on catching crappies. where is mostly the big question.

I hate to say it synergyboy, but you need to be surf fishing. The outer banks are just that, outer banks. You are on the ocean. Fire a PM my way and I can get you a link to a site that may be more help.
