semi bad announcing
« on: Jun 07, 2006, 09:16 PM »
Just watched goal 4 - and I am impartial - but it was off stick.

Announcers said --- could only say --- it was off skate.

It sucks I'm 41 with perfect vision - almost taken out by Slipbob's shurb
 ;)

Ask me for that story some time.

BUT - Pure Stick - although just tip - pure stick --  did the puck hit blade yes - then ..........???

Yes it did go off the stick. It was not clear on all angles. One should be able to determine if the flight path changes it had to hit something to change it.

Buckski - I promise no more encryption - I mentioned to Pikeguy that I found the entire bottle of Teqiula empty when I woke up that next morning

I did watch the game last night and thought the Oilers controlled the puck the most, especially in the 3rd period.   I had to think about it some, but it seems the Canes defense has been pretty tough - in the last 10 periods of hockey against the Oilers they have only given up 4 I think.

With what I see as a faster pace of play with the rules change, those guys are either getting lucky - or the MVP should go to the D (That is if the cup goes South)  :P

PS - My round Sat. has me thinking about demo-ing some new golf clubs  :-\

Hey Buckski,

I have the Ping O-Size (black), I added the lob wedge too and am finally figuring it out.  In addition there is a 56 Cleveland in my bag too, and it actually works (sometimes) pretty well.

Hey, I just realized the cup has already been South for 2 years - in Tampa Bay  ;D

Lindz's promise to MFF, NO MORE typing with a Tequila IV in my arm  :D

Bad announcing....try this....Bob Cole for C B C with Carolina pressuring the Oilers in their zone...."oh baby.....they're on the verge of scoring!!".....what the heck is on the verge??...hooking behind the play by the Oilers, and the play is stopped with the Oilers in possession....oh baby...looks like a Hurricanes penalty coming up...duh....the referee doesnt whistle the play dead very often when the opposing team is going to take a penalty....unless off-setting penalties are coming up...duh....what a joke....Grump
