Might be crazy, but my "out on a limb" pick is going to be the Penguins.
I think they are going to be this years Sabres of last season.

Sabres, they retained most of their players and should pick up where they left off last season.  This could be the year!!

Would've loved to see them keep thornburn, we need some grit in the corners to replace grier.  He and Mckee will be sorely missed obviously. It was entertaining to watch thornburn, mair, and peters during the pittsburg game lol. Although they had peters drop some weight this off season to try and help switch his role a little bit. So he might not be the big goofy bruiser he was last year.

nice win buffalo, i watched it on tivo in super fast mode. i think i watched the game in 25 minutes. 1st time i have only had 1 beer during a hockey game.

It'd almost be a shame for a guy like Crosby to win a cup  his first season. It'd take the luster of pursuing it thru your career away i would think. Like teh sabres..........the thing that makes it so exciting, is the fact that they have never won. lol.........Im just kidding, in a way, but think about it..........coming into the league, young as he is, rippin up the league in every way, put on a pedestal, win the cup........pretty much blow your wad the first season in the league. What do your goals and xpectations become from there? Just food for discussion i guess. Go Sabres.........then go Pens
