NHL Logos

Most of the NHL hockey teams have 2 or 3 logos.
How do they determin which logo they will use for there home and away jerseys?

What do you think of some of the new logos?

I am not fond of the new logos the ducks and Canuks are using this year.

I like a logo to have something to it { a face} not just fancy writing.

Moot point next year.  No third jerseys.

As for logos / sweaters in general, the Canucks throwbacks are pretty cool.  The blue really stands out.  I couldn't stand the hometown Buffalo Golden Slugs logo, but I guess winning a ton of games helps you get used to it.  Can't wait for home whites to come back next year.

I think anaheim made a real big mistake with the jersey. I understand that since Disney no longer owns them that they cany use "Mighty Ducks" anymore, but they were just starting to get respect.

The best jersey logo has to be Chicago Blackhawks, second being Montreal. Got to love the original 6.

I think they should also acknowledge with the horn when the away team scores, not just the home team.

I thoroughly disagree with you there.  When OLN put the "laugh track" horn in the playoffs 2 years ago, it drove me nuts.

and in what year did the term home whites  disappear??? i love the sabres throwback jerseys but the white ones are so much better than the blue.
