     I was curious, so I looked it up, it's either a longnose or shortnose gar, the difference being one's snout is wider than the other and since we can't see the width, we'll have to wait till Mr. Marty tells us.

The tail looks like a spotted gar but the body dosn't have the spotts. So it could be a longnose.

Aaaaaah...gar-patties, seasoned liberally with Tony Chachare's.  At least now, whatever it is, it's a "good" gar

37" Northern Pike.  Caught him on a tip-up ice fishing this year. Wish I had the picture, but it was on my friends camera and he had it stolen outta his truck. Now I just gotta one-up it!!

This was probably my best ice fishing fish. Caught a couple 20" bows but nothin' spectacular. This guy was my biggest of the 07-08 ice fishing season.

sorry guys its a long nose gar from lake champlaigne one of the funnest fish to catch almost scarry to catch you have to give them a try between them and the bowfin its like dinasore fishing
