     I was curious, so I looked it up, it's either a longnose or shortnose gar, the difference being one's snout is wider than the other and since we can't see the width, we'll have to wait till Mr. Marty tells us.  ;D

The tail looks like a spotted gar but the body dosn't have the spotts. So it could be a longnose.
Fishing is always better when you can get sun burnt!

Aaaaaah...gar-patties, seasoned liberally with Tony Chachare's.  At least now, whatever it is, it's a "good" gar  ;D

37" Northern Pike.  Caught him on a tip-up ice fishing this year. Wish I had the picture, but it was on my friends camera and he had it stolen outta his truck. Now I just gotta one-up it!!

This was probably my best ice fishing fish. Caught a couple 20" bows but nothin' spectacular. This guy was my biggest of the 07-08 ice fishing season.

sorry guys its a long nose gar from lake champlaigne one of the funnest fish to catch almost scarry to catch you have to give them a try between them and the bowfin its like dinasore fishing
