2008 Trout Opener

I'm really looking forward to the 2008 trout opener here in Minn. & also the trout opener in Wisc..

 Is anyone else here looking forward to getting out  walking banks & wading the streams also?

I'm looking forward to trout opener here in Wyoming.  Trout season doesn't close here but I'm celebrating the honorary opener of the last Sat. in April for my home state of Michigan.  I sure do miss those little stream and beaver pond brookies!  I guess some bonneville cutthroat will have to do for a while.

Be sure to check on the special regs & counties/waters.... Especially for Wisc.   

Both States have Rules & regs, that are different..

 As I like to say," Watch Your Bobber!",no matter where ya fish & what you're fishing for..

You have open water?

Sure, Skipper! All of the rivers & streams here are open! Our ice is pretty iffy, if not gone, on most of the waters around here. We only got a dusting of snow, & the runoff from warm weather & rain has got the rivers running high, but very open.

    I am going to a benefit today, for a friend that has cancer , so I am not out fishing today & tomorrow i have some other commitments, so Monday is my opener for stream trout in MN.

Hope any that go out have a great time & catch some beauts!
