I don't think anything will help the queenies at this point. It looks like they are trying to keep the payroll down in case they need to sell. From what I hear, a sale (not necessarily a move) is almost certain if the pin heads in the MN legislature can't get a stadium deal done this session. The current ownership of the Vikings have never been shy about whipping the checkbook and pen out to bring in a big time free agent. They were very interested in Pierre Garcon, but let him go as soon as the price started going up. We have no wide receivers and they let him go...
Our offensive line is a joke.
Our defensive secondary belongs in the CFL.
Our quarterback may be a total bust.
Adrian Peterson just got a retread knee.
Percy Harvin is fragile and misses games.
At least we get to watch Jared Allen tear the head off opposing QBs, but that is about it right now. I am a life long Vikings fan, I hope to always be. I think we will be lucky to do better than 3-13 until that stadium is done though.
By the way, how do you guys keep the Packers happy in that horrible stadium in that horrible town?
