lake trout were few and far between for us a week ago.  i heard from the ranger that they were at about 40 f.o.w., but we couldn't really find them in any numbers.  the cutthroat were tearing it up close in.  good luck on the lakers and let us know what you find.

Has any of you guys ever went up there in the fall to fish for lake trout.  Is it true you can get gps from the rangers of the spawning grounds.

Lakerlover- This time of year, you might have to try the site iceshanty.com. It's the same thing as this, but for hardwater fishing. Im pretty sure this site is abandoned by wyoming folks as soon as hardwater hits. You will probably have better luck there. I dont know the answer to your question, but check that site, and you might find one.

it's true.  we got checked for licenses and regulation adherence, and then we asked him what he knew.  not that we found much where he told us to go.
