Snowy Range
« on: Sep 05, 2010, 08:57 PM »
My dad and I went up to the the top of the highway and fished a few spots up there. Caught a bunch of brook trout, one cuttbow, one rainbow, and one cutthroat. Kept a couple to eat. As you can see the brookies are getting there fall colors. Great day of fly fishing, but horribly windy.

Went back today for the afternoon. Again caught a couple dozen brookies and they are even brighter now, also caught one cutthroat, all on dry flies. There's no snow up top yet so if you want to fish up there get up there while it's still nice.
