13th lake - Johnsburg - Fishing & camping

Hello,
We are looking to do a night of camping / fishing on 13th lake relatively soon. I will be bringing my canoe to troll around for some trout.
How are the black flies in May?
Any info as what baits to troll would be appreciated.

I saw a few black flies this past weekend and they are VERY friendly.
